• Support whānau and hapu
• Develop collaborative partnerships between hapu/Iwi and regional government
• Support hapu to protect and maintain their connection with land,significant sites and wahi tapu.
• Ensure appropriate storage and access to all Rangitane archival information, reo and resources.
• Identify our people
• Provide and manage a register for hapu to enrol on.
• Preserve tribal heritage and taonga.
• Promote Rangitāne identity locally,nationally and globally
• Create opportunities to increase Rangitāne tikanga and reo
