Rangitane Tryathlon

Rangitāne Tryathlon

The annual Rangitāne Tryathlon was again another successful event for whanau who completed this supported 12 week programme. Participants trained for 12 weeks leading up to the main event. Training was delivered in collaboration with Sport Manawatu.

For some participants this was a first, and for others they were determined to bet their personal bests from the previous year. The only point of difference to this year’s event was that we were being filmed by the film crew from Marae DIY. This didn’t stop the whanau putting their best foot forward and grinding on with the job at hand.

Every whanau participant received a medal of recognition and spot prizes were distributed.

This event has become a regular addition to many whanau’s calendars. So if you are sitting at home contemplating your health and fitness goals, mark April 2016 for the next Tryathlon. Every step you make towards your health and fitness goals is one step closer than you were the day before. It’s never too late whanau!!!
